Grand Forks’ Sean Taylor has thrown his hat into the ring as an independent candidate for the Boundary-Similkameen riding in the 2024 BC Provincial Election.
Taylor is a 20-year Canadian Armed Forces veteran with combat experience in Afghanistan and has worked as a Registered Emergency Nurse, an Emergency Medical Technician, and a volunteer firefighter across BC.
In a statement, Taylor said his campaign will focus on reducing personal taxes, increasing affordable housing, reforming healthcare, and cutting red tape for small business owners.
He is running against NDP nominee Roly Russell and Donegal Wilson for the BC Conservatives.
The 2024 BC Provincial Election will be held on October 19.
