The Border Bruins smoked the Rebels to remain undefeated in the pre-season, downing them 5-2 and 6-0.

Levi Astill leads all KIJHL scoring in the pre-season with 11 points.

Meanwhile, the Thunder Cats split up their games against the Nelson Leafs, falling short 4-2 at home but scoring 2 goals in the last 30 seconds of Saturday’s game to force over-time and ultimately beat the Leafs 5-4.

Liam Munro got the job done for the Thunder Cats in the shoot-out.

And the Beaver Valley Nitehawks remain undefeated in pre-Season, finishing it off with a 4-1 and 6-2 victory over Spokane.

In Saturday’s game, Boris Hristov scored a hat trick to give him 9 PTS in 5 games

And finally, the Castlegar Rebels finished their pre-season with a couple of tough losses to the Grand Forks Border Bruins, going down 5-2 on Friday and a 6-0 shutout on Saturday.

Bo Stevens finished as the Rebels top scorer in the exhibition games.
